Working load limits are stated for a vertical lift. For angled lifts, apply the reduction factor on the datasheet or ask for a calculation.
Select the range
Match the clamp range to the hose outside diameter, with 2–3 mm of adjustment left.
Position
Open the clamp and fit it behind the bead, square to the hose axis.
Tighten
Tighten to the rated torque. Do not exceed 6 N·m on the W1 band.
Check
Pull-test the connection and re-torque after the first heat cycle.
